Update for Aug-22-2006
My plants have suffered so much in the heat. I'm going to have to rethink how I grow tomatoes next year. A visitor named Durgan left a link with some great pictures of Cherokee Purple tomatoes.Update for Jul-22-2006
Some of my plants have died. I put up some photos of a diseased plant. Can anyone help identify what is troubling my plants?

One thing I'll say about the Cherokee Purple is that they are the most sickly tomato plants I am growing this year. I have already yanked up a few plants and thrown them out into the woods. My other tomato varieties are bigger, healthier, and more robust. I hope the taste of what few Cherokee Purple tomatoes I may end up getting is worth it.

I grew the Cherokee Tomato plant this year. It has thrived. Here is a URL to the pcitures. I post on the Univ of Britch Columbia in Vancouver. Website under Durgan. There is much plant information in the various forums. I usually post in Fruit and Vegetable gardening plus Photography and Aat, plus sometimes in others when appropiate.
